 10th Annual 2023 Fish & Golf Tournament

Golf Friday afternoon and Fish Saturday

Entry Fee:  $350 for 4-person team

Deadline to register and pay is June 15th this year.  Late fee of $50/team after that, because this year we will have a live leaderboard at weigh in and weighmaster needs headcount!

RULES


1. IN THE EVENT TOURNAMENT IS CANCELLED ALL MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. 

2. You may Hire a guide in this tournament.  The guide cannot contribute fish.  No spectators or substitutes on the boat.  1 Boat only per team.
 
3. All entered fish must be caught during tournament hours. Tournament hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday June 24, 2023.

4.  A picture of the fish and special object must be taken upon catching a fish that will possibly be entered in the tournament, and this picture must be presented to tournament officials upon request.  If picture cannot be presented, fish will not count toward tournament

5. Weigh in will be between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Saturday June 24, 2023. Anyone not standing in the weigh-in line, with your fish, at 6:00 PM will receive 0 pounds.  Each team will walk up to the weighmaster with only up to 4 fish, one redfish for spot pot category, one fish for heavy red (same red for spot pot can be used for heavy red), one trout for heavy trout, and one flounder.  If a fish is oversize or deemed illegal that fish will get 0lbs recorded and no substitution will be allowed.  It is up to the angler to properly select their fish ahead of time.  No culling fish at the weigh table and you can’t replace a fish with another if it gets kicked for any reason.

6. Only rods and reels may be used to catch fish.

7. Professionals are allowed in this tournament.

8. All fish must be legal and are subject to verification. Redfish submitted to the weighmaster must be slot redfish (BETWEEN 20 AND 28 INCHES). Trout must be between 17”and 23”.  All fish subject to inspection by weighmaster. All entrants subject to questioning by weighmaster. 

9. ALL DECISIONS MADE BY WEIGHMASTER ARE FINAL. ALL FISH WILL BE INSPECTED

10. Each team will start with even par 70 on Saturday and deduct their team stringer weight from that 70 for their final score.  Team stringer consists of 1 slot red, 1 trout, 1 flounder, no other combinations or fish allowed.  You do not have to have all 3 fish to enter.  For Example, if you turn in 8 lbs of fish, 70 – 8 = 62.  That’s your score Saturday.

11. Friday each team will play a 4-person scramble (1 PM Shotgun Start) from the white tees for the men and red tees for women, using USGA recommended handicapping for team handicap will be deducted from their gross score to record their net score.  The golf net score from Friday will be added to Saturday’s score, and lowest total score wins.
